On September 23, 2026, the X account @noahsarkscans (the official presence of Noah’s Ark Scans, an archaeological research effort led by Andrew Jones) shared a screenshot of a Daily Mail headline and commented that they were fully confident the paper would face criticism for it, yet equally confident no retraction would be needed, with more information promised soon.
The headline states that Noah’s Ark’s resting place has been “100% confirmed” after roughly 4,300 years, based on detection of an astonishing man-made structure buried deep underground.
The Site
The focus is the Durupınar Formation (also called the Durupinar site), a large boat-shaped mound in eastern Turkey in Ağrı Province, near the village of Doğubayazıt / Üzengili, about 18–29 kilometers (roughly 11–18 miles) south of the summit of Mount Ararat.
The formation measures approximately 157–164 meters (515–538 feet) in length. Proponents note that this closely aligns with the biblical dimensions of Noah’s Ark in Genesis 6 (300 cubits long, using an Egyptian royal cubit of about 20.6 inches). It sits at an elevation of roughly 1,920–2,000 meters (around 6,300–6,575 feet).
Local accounts describe heavy rains and earthquakes exposing more of its outline around 1948. Turkish Army Captain İlhan Durupınar formally identified the ship-like shape in aerial photographs in 1959.
The site has drawn attention for decades because Genesis 8:4 places the Ark’s resting place on the “mountains of Ararat,” a regional term linked to the ancient kingdom of Urartu rather than solely the modern peak of Greater Ararat.
The Research Team and 2026 Work
Andrew Jones, an American independent researcher and founder of Noah’s Ark Scans, has studied the site for nearly 30 years (first visit around 1997, more intensive efforts from about 2013).
In 2026 the project operates under official Turkish government permits as a scientific research effort directed by Prof. Dr. Cenker Atila of Sivas Cumhuriyet University’s Department of Archaeology, with involvement from other Turkish academics and international specialists.
Methods used include ground-penetrating radar (GPR), electrical resistivity tomography (ERT), LiDAR, extensive soil sampling (nearly 1,000 samples reported in some updates), and— for the first time at this scale—permitted sonic core drilling.
Key claims reported by the team and covered in the Daily Mail piece:
• Radar surveys (including earlier 2019 work and a 2026 deeper survey using advanced systems associated with Dr. Khosrow Bakhtar) show linear structures, right-angle intersections, layered features, possible chambers, corridors, and tunnels. One thick underground layer appears to divide into three parts, which the team has compared to the biblical three decks.
• Soil samples from inside the formation show higher organic content (described in various reports as roughly three times higher or with elevated carbon levels around 40 percent higher in some measurements), along with differences in pH and potassium, interpreted as consistent with decayed organic material such as wood.
• Core drilling, which began around September 22–23, 2026, has recovered layers rich in organic material. Researchers report no detection of solid limestone or clear bedrock inside the formation in the holes drilled so far. In at least one hole, at roughly 4–5 meters depth, the drill bit broke on a layer harder than limestone; the team is treating this as a candidate for petrified or highly mineralized wood and plans third-party laboratory testing.
They also intend to deploy a specialized underground drone (“Gopher”) into mapped voids. Drilling has reached depths of up to about 18 meters in some accounts.
• Nearby pottery fragments spanning Chalcolithic through later periods are presented as evidence of ancient human activity in the area, though Jones has noted that pottery alone does not prove a direct connection to an Ark.
Jones has stated that the radar and early drilling data challenge theories that the site is simply a solid limestone block or bedrock with mud flowed around it. He says he firmly believes the Durupınar Formation represents the buried remains of Noah’s Ark, while acknowledging that the evidence has not yet definitively identified it as the biblical vessel.
The Daily Mail frames the “100% confirmed” language around the claim that it is a man-made structure rather than a purely natural geological feature. The team has indicated more detailed information and sample results will follow.
Turkish academics involved, including Atila, have described the effort as focused on determining whether subsurface features are artificial or natural; laboratory analysis of the new cores (including potential radiocarbon dating of suitable organic material) is expected over the coming months, with fuller results anticipated into 2027.
Scientific Context and Skepticism
The prevailing geological interpretation for decades has been that Durupınar is a natural formation. Detailed analyses (notably work by geologist Lorence G. Collins and others) describe it as a doubly plunging syncline—a folded sedimentary structure—shaped by tectonic processes, differential erosion, and mudflow or landslide activity.
Features once claimed as “ribs,” metal, or petrified wood have been reinterpreted as natural mineral concentrations (such as limonite or magnetite), volcanic material, or local rock. A fossiliferous limestone bed is said in some studies to cut across the formation in ways inconsistent with a wooden hull. Some researchers link the outline to residual hard rock within an earth flow.
Even among those who accept a historical Flood and Ark, some creationist geologists have expressed skepticism about this particular site, citing issues with the age and formation of the surrounding geology relative to young-Earth timelines or preferring other candidate locations such as areas near Mount Cudi.
Mainstream archaeology and geology have generally treated claims of an intact or identifiable Ark remnant here as unproven, emphasizing the need for rigorous, peer-reviewed evidence rather than radar anomalies or preliminary soil chemistry alone.
As of September 23, 2026, physical samples are being collected and prepared for analysis, winter will soon limit fieldwork, and the team continues to stress that further testing is required.
The Bible is not a Hate Israel book like some uneducated people out there keep trying to make it out to be. It is their past and their future. It also tells us who God chose, what land and why.
People keep trying to act like The Jews Killed Jesus. For anyone that actually reads their Bible, they would realize we all did. Not a race of people or a land! Many are still trying to Nail Jesus’s hands and feet still today by the way the talk about Him.
Get to know a little bit about the History, the people and the land. By actually picking the book up and reading it.
God starts with Abram and does not speak in past tense only:
“Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country… And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee… And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.”
(Genesis 12:1–3)
(A nation. A land. A blessing that runs all the way to the families of the earth. That is history starting, and it is future promised.)
He calls the covenant everlasting and ties Himself to that seed and that land:
“And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee. And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.” (Genesis 17:7–8)
(If the covenant is everlasting, the story is not finished when Rome burns the Temple. The land and the people stay in the book.)
The books that follow are that history walking: the fathers, Egypt, Sinai, the land, David, the Temple, exile, return. The hatred walks with it, because they serve the Almighty God and will not disappear into the nations. Pharaoh tried to drown the sons. Haman tried to wipe out the name. Psalm 83 said it plain:
“They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.” (Psalm 83:4)
(That sentence is the old hatred and the present one. Erase the name so the God of that name looks beaten.)
The prophets do not leave Israel in the grave of 586 or 70. AD. They speak a future for the same people in the same land.
“For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land.
Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean… A new heart also will I give you… And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.” (Ezekiel 36:24–28)
(Gathered. Cleansed. A New heart. Back in the land of the fathers. That is not “the church replaced them.” That is Israel brought home and made new.)
“And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all… And David my servant shall be king over them… And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant… and my servant David shall be their prince for ever.” (Ezekiel 37:22, 24–25)
(One nation. One king. The land given to Jacob. Forever. The future of the people is not exile as the last word.)
“And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be pulled up out of their land which I have given them, saith the Lord thy God.” (Amos 9:15)
(Planted. Not pulled up again.)
Zechariah puts Jerusalem in the last days, not in a museum:
“And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people… In that day shall the Lord defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem… And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced.” (Zechariah 12:3, 8, 10)
(The city is still the stone. The house of David is still named. They look on the One they pierced. That is Israel’s future meeting Israel’s Messiah.)
Jesus does not step out of that story. He steps into it.
“Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.” (John 4:22)
(Salvation comes out of that people. Then it goes to the world.)
Paul, after the cross, still lists what belongs to them:
“Who are Israelites; to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the promises; Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came.” (Romans 9:4–5)
(The promises did not change owners. Christ came in their flesh.)
Then he tells you what happens to the nations. The Christian’s, They are not the new Israel. They are grafted in.
“I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid… God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew.” (Romans 11:1–2)
“And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree; Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.” (Romans 11:17–18)
(The root is Israel’s covenant story. Gentiles are wild branches put into that tree. You eat from their root. You do not become the root.)
“And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again… And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob.” (Romans 11:23, 26)
(Broken branches can come back. All Israel saved is future, not a footnote. The Deliverer comes out of Zion for Jacob.)
“As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers’ sakes. For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.” (Romans 11:28–29)
(Without repentance means God did not take the calling back. Unbelief is real. The calling is still theirs.)
The Bible opens on Abraham and it is not a cancelled people.
Israel’s history is the core of the book. Israel’s future is still written: gathered, planted, given a new heart, looking on the One they pierced, with the King from David’s line.
The nations who believe and Call on the name of the Lord, Jesus The Christ are grafted into that tree.
They share the life. They do not steal the name and then curse the first branches.
The hatred has always been the same war. Satan against the God who said, “I will be their God.”
Israel is far from being perfect. Not all Jews are saved through Jesus/Yeshua The Christ/Messiah/The Hebrew word for Christ is Mashiach (מָשִׁיחַ).
When So-called Christian wannabes are out trying to act like they are superior somehow to the Jews? It just goes to show they haven’t read their Bible. The Bible isn’t about race people. They can be saved just like anyone else who knows Jesus the Christ.
Gentiles, which means everybody other than Jewish or grafted in to the family of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Israel! Those who know the Messiah.
Only if they know Jesus The Christ.
Romans 11:17, 21-22:
"And if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them, and with them became a partaker of the root and fatness of the olive tree... For if God did not spare the natural branches, He may not spare you either. Therefore consider the goodness and severity of God: on those who fell, severity; but toward you, goodness, if you continue in His goodness. Otherwise you also will be cut off."
Pay attention to what that says just as much as we have been grafted in, we can lose it just as fast because eventually the Jews and Israel will be saved when they recognize who the Messiah is.
It’s time for a lot of of you to wake up to that fact and stop spreading nonsense!
You either believe the Bible or you don’t, but don’t act like you do while spreading hatred about the very people God Himself chose to bring forth the Messiah. The Savior of all mankind not just you!
As the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of Man be.
Matthew 24:37–39
“But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.”
Luke 17:26–30
“And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; but the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.”
Jesus’ point is not that eating, drinking, and marriage are sins. His point is that life looked normal to them. People were busy. Fighting, extreme violence, hatred while also celebrating in the midst of it all. They were not watching. They did not believe the warning until it was too late. Not to mention Nephlim. Yes Giants!
What was going on before the flood?
Genesis 6:1–4
When men began to multiply on the earth, and daughters were born to them, the sons of God saw that the daughters of men were fair, and they took them wives of all which they chose.
There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them. The same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.
Genesis 6:5–7
“And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. And the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth…”
Genesis 6:11–13
“The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.
And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.”
So before the flood there was:
• a world multiplying fast
• unlawful mixing that produced the Nephilim, the mighty men of old
• hearts that were only evil continually
• a planet filled with violence
• all flesh corrupting its way
• and a crowd that still ate, drank, married, and mocked the man building an ark yet,
Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord
(Genesis 6:8). He was warning them.
(2 Peter 2:5). By faith he prepared an ark to the saving of his house (Hebrews 11:7). The rest of the world called it a hoax until the rain started.
That is why Jesus said the last days would look like Noah’s days. Because people will be living as if nothing is coming—until the door shuts.
Get in, before it’s too late.
Matthew 6: Your Father Sees In Secret!
There’s always people that like to parade around, trying to act like they are so Holy!
We see them online all the time acting like they have the right to condemn others and ridicule people like the Jews and Israel! Or even on posts like this!
With so much Hate! Then they try to have the audacity to quote scriptures with here sentence, there a sentence. Some of them with most foul mouths even using Jesus name in the same sentence.
There’s something seriously wrong with these people and these people are obviously not Christians.
This is part of the reason why I’m doing these chapters in Matthew. I already did chapter 5. I’ll probably leave the link below.
But Jesus spoke it well throughout these few chapters and also explains how Christians are actually supposed to be, and how we are supposed to do certain things in secret.
Not scream from the rooftops trying to act like we are holier than thou art, because none of us are. We all fall short of this. It’s because we are human, but we are definitely not supposed to continuously act like these people do! Not if you actually follow Jesus!
Please take the time to actually read the entire post. This is the full chapter of Matthew 6. I removed the numbers so it can be read like a book. With a little bit of summary below below as well.
Matthew 6
Take heed that you do not do your charitable deeds before men, to be seen by them. Otherwise you have no reward from your Father in heaven.
Therefore, when you do a charitable deed, do not sound a trumpet before you as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory from men.
Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. But when you do a charitable deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, that your charitable deed may be in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will Himself reward you openly.
(Hypocrites here are people putting on a holy show. They give so other people will clap.)
And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men.
Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do.
For they think that they will be heard for their many words. Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him.
In this manner, therefore, pray:
Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors.
And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
(This prayer is not a magic string of words. Jesus just said not to pile up empty repeats. He is giving the heart of how to talk to the Father.)
Moreover, when you fast, do not be like the hypocrites, with a sad countenance. For they disfigure their faces that they may appear to men to be fasting.
Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. But you, when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, so that you do not appear to men to be fasting, but to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.
(Fasting is going without food to seek God. They made their faces look miserable so people would notice.)
Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal.
For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light.
But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness!
(A good eye is a single, honest focus. A bad eye is greedy and split. What you stare at fills you. For those that know the spiritual side of this you also know what this means. )
No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other.
You cannot serve God and mammon.
(Mammon means money and stuff treated like a god.)
Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?
Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?
Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?
So why do you worry about clothing?
Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
Therefore do not worry, saying, “What shall we eat?” or “What shall we drink?” or “What shall we wear?”
For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.
(Gentiles here means the nations who do not know the Father. As well as outside of the Jewish faith of Israel. They chase food and clothes as if that is the whole life.)
Summary
Matthew 5 showed what the kingdom looks like on the inside.
Matthew 6 shows what happens when people take that same holiness and turn it into a performance.
Giving, prayer, and fasting are not canceled. They are pulled out of the street and put in front of the Father who sees in secret. Then Jesus goes after the heart behind the show: money, split loyalty, and worry.
The chapter ends where it started. The Father already knows what you need. Seek His kingdom first.
List of what happens in this chapter
1. Do not give to be seen. Give in secret. The Father who sees in secret rewards.
2. Do not pray to be seen. Go into the room and shut the door.
3. Do not pile up empty words. The Father already knows the need.
There are so many arguments around this cloth. Only one description in history that records anything like it. All the way down to the details.
If somehow it wasn’t Jesus, than who else in history went through the same exact treatment? With no other cloth in history found that does this same exact print?
What do you think?
What they say the cloth is
A linen about 14.3 feet by 3.6 feet, herringbone twill. Front and back of one man, head to head, as if the sheet was folded over a body.
The image is a faint straw-yellow. In ordinary light you barely see a face. In a photographic negative the face jumps out. Secondo Pia saw that in 1898. That face is what the poster is using.
STURP, 1978
Twenty-six scientists, five days, about 120 hours, instruments brought in crates. X-ray fluorescence, infrared, ultraviolet, microscopy, sticky-tape samples. After three years of papers they published this conclusion:
No pigments, paints, dyes, or stains were found on the image fibrils. X-ray, fluorescence, and microchemistry, they said, rule out paint as the way the body image was made. Ultraviolet and infrared agreed. The color is only on the topmost fibers, thinner than a human hair’s coating. No brush direction. No binder soaking through the cloth.
They said the image is a real human form of a scourged, crucified man. It is not the product of an artist. How the image got there they could not name.
Blood, as Heller and Adler reported it
John Heller and Alan Adler tested the red stains separately from the body image.
They reported hemoglobin. They reported a positive test for serum albumin. Under ultraviolet, pale rings around the red marks looked like serum that spread farther than the clot, which is how blood behaves in cloth. They used formic acid to strip iron from heme and said the leftover showed the red fluorescence of porphyrin.
Heller’s line was that any one of those tests would pass in court, and together they were enough.
Later work on the authenticity side typed the blood as AB. They also report bilirubin mixed with the blood, which they say keeps old blood looking red after torture and breakdown of red cells.
They point to particles with fibrin and creatinine, marks they tie to a body under extreme stress.
Forensic doctors on that side map the wounds this way: more than a hundred scourge marks in dumbbell shapes like a Roman flagrum. Punctures around the scalp, not a thin circlet, a cap of thorns.
Nail in the wrist area, not the palm, which they say holds a body’s weight. One nailing through the feet. A side wound with a separate clear-and-blood flow, which they read as heart and lung fluid. No broken legs.
The man was already dead. Rigor is in the image. Blood on the cloth, they say, was there before the body image. The image does not sit on top of the blood the way paint would.
The 3-D claim
In 1976 John Jackson and Eric Jumper put Shroud photos into a VP-8 Image Analyzer, a device used to turn brightness into height. Ordinary photos and paintings crumple into mush. The Shroud face and body, they said, rose into a coherent relief. Darker image meant the cloth had been closer to the skin. The nose stands. The eye sockets drop. The hair falls away. Their argument: the image encodes cloth-to-body distance, not an artist’s shading.
They also say contact alone cannot explain the face. A cloth pressed on a face smears. This face is resolved. So something acted across the small air gap, they argue, and the strength of that action fell off with distance.
What they say the image is chemically
Ray Rogers and others described dehydrated, oxidized linen sugars on the outer fibers only. Not a scorch like the 1532 fire marks. Not a dye bath.
A surface change so thin that the other side of the same thread is often still white. No one on that team produced a medieval workshop method that copies all of that at once: superficial color, no pigment body, blood first, 3-D distance code, photographic negative.
Some later papers on that side propose a short, intense burst of light or particle radiation from the body. That is a hypothesis, not a lab recipe they can repeat on a new corpse. They offer it because every ordinary method they tried failed some part of the list.
Why they reject the 1988 carbon date
Three labs dated a strip from one corner to 1260–1390. Authenticity researchers say that corner was not original cloth.
Rogers compared fibers from that corner with fibers from the main field. He reported cotton mixed into the dated threads, madder dye, a gum binder, extra aluminum from a mordant, and vanillin still present in the lignin of the dated area. The main Shroud, he said, has almost no vanillin left.
Vanillin in linen lignin breaks down over time. A medieval cloth should still have it. An ancient cloth stored cool would have lost it. His paper in Thermochimica Acta argued the dated sample was a repair dyed to match, the worst possible piece to date.
Raw data released years later showed the subsample ages were not a flat line. Papers by Casabianca and others say the labs’ numbers were heterogeneous and that a spatial gradient ran along the strip. They say that fails the homogeneity you need before you publish one date for the whole sheet.
Giulio Fanti ran mechanical and chemical aging tests on threads he holds as Shroud threads and published ranges that overlap the first century. Liberato De Caro’s 2022 wide-angle X-ray scattering on a linen fragment compared cellulose breakdown with linens of known age and said the Shroud sample behaved like cloth from about the time of the Jewish War, first century. They treat carbon-14 on a mended edge as the outlier, not the X-ray and chemistry of the field.
A neutron-radiation idea is also used: if a burst of neutrons hit the cloth, it could make extra carbon-14 and shove a first-century linen into a medieval number. That is offered as a possible physical reason the date moved, not as something measured in 1988.
Pollen, dust, and the path they reconstruct
Max Frei taped the cloth and reported pollen from plants that grow around Jerusalem and the Dead Sea, including Gundelia tournefortii, which flowers in spring in that region.
Other grains they tie to the Edessa and Constantinople route, then fewer from France and Italy. Limestone particles near the feet have been compared with Jerusalem travertine. The argument is: a French faker in the 1350s did not go collect that plant load.
The Sudarium of Oviedo
A bloodied face cloth kept in Spain, documented there for centuries, no body image. Researchers in Oviedo report AB blood, the same type they assign to the Shroud.
They overlay stain maps of nose, mouth, and beard and say the geometry is the same head. Pollen overlap with Palestine is claimed. Their sequence: the face cloth went on the dead man first, off the cross, then the long shroud in the tomb. John 20 mentions linen cloths and a separate face cloth. They say these are those two objects.
Coins and other image claims.
Some researchers say they see lepton coins over the eyes, a Pontius Pilate minting around AD 29, used to keep the eyelids shut. That is image-enhancement work. It is part of their case. It is also one of the more disputed pieces even among people who think the cloth is old.
What they say this adds up to
A crucified man, Jewish burial custom of a single linen, wounds that match the Gospel passion in detail a medieval painter is not expected to know (wrist, not palm; no broken legs; side wound flow). Blood before image. Image not paint. 3-D distance information. Superficial chemistry. A carbon sample they call a patch. Other dating methods they say pull the linen back toward the first century. Pollen and a Spanish face cloth they use as a travel record.
They do not claim a lab printed the name “Jesus of Nazareth” on the flax. They claim the physical object is the burial cloth of that crucified man, and the face you see in the negative is his face because the cloth was on his face.
That is the proof-stack as the authenticity side writes it. The fight that remains is whether the dated corner is the whole cloth, whether the blood tests close the case, and whether anyone can show a workshop that makes this image without leftover paint.
Pia’s plate in 1898 only flipped that map a second time, so a modern eye finally recognized a man. The information was in the cloth the whole time.
What would have to happen to write that map.
Something had to brown the linen in proportion to how far each point of skin sat from the cloth, across a small air gap, without soaking the thread, without burying the blood already there, and without a brush stroke.
That is not a known workshop trick. It is also not an X-ray of bone. It is a surface distance record. The people who say the cloth is real treat that as the signature: the body itself, or a burst from it, printed its own relief onto the flax.
Nothing else we have from any century copies that print.
It used a process we still cannot repeat, and the negative is what that process left.
Foxe’s Book of Martyrs! Foxe in the 1500s say with a stack of older books and copied what those books said, then put it in English.
I’m posting this because a lot of people don’t know what happened to the apostles after. And personally, I don’t know of anybody who would’ve went through all of this if Jesus Christ wasn’t who he said he was.
How many people do you know of that would go through this for Jesus today?
Believe it or not there’s more than you think!
For those of you that have been keeping up with all the prophecies. I’ve already posted the tribulation comes. It’s gonna look a lot like this.
But at the same time, there will be miracles happening in many coming to Christ like never before! More so than what happened then!
Where Foxe got the apostle records
For the first three hundred years he was not using English court papers. Those come later in his book, under Mary. For Peter, James, and the rest he used the old church historians.
The Bible first. Luke in Acts 12 is the one record he can quote as Scripture: Herod Agrippa killed James the son of Zebedee with the sword.
Then Eusebius of Caesarea, Ecclesiastical History, written about AD 312–324. That is Foxe’s main mine. Eusebius had already done what Foxe later did: he gathered older writers and lined them up. Foxe quotes him, and through him he also gets:
• Clement of Alexandria (late 100s), from a lost work called the Hypotyposes. Eusebius saved the story of James’s accuser repenting on the road to the sword.
• Hegesippus (about AD 160–180), for James the Lord’s brother.
• Origen (early 200s), Commentary on Genesis, for Peter crucified head-down and for the lands each apostle was said to have received.
• Dionysius of Corinth and Caius of Rome, for Peter and Paul dying in Rome and for the “trophies” on the Vatican and the Ostian Way.
Then Jerome, On Illustrious Men and the Catalogue of Ecclesiastical Writers. Foxe names Jerome for Peter’s request to be crucified with his head down.
Then Tertullian (about AD 200): Rome is the church where Peter was crucified and Paul was beheaded.
Then later Greek and Latin lists: Nicephorus, old martyrologies, and the apocryphal Acts of Peter, Andrew, Thomas, and Paul.
Those Acts are story-books from the 100s and 200s. Foxe treats them as history the way the churches of his day treated them.
For England he had bishop’s registers and eyewitnesses.
For the Twelve he had this older library. That is the research. He did not invent the list. He gathered it.
What the records say happened, and the years usually given
Years for most of them are traditional, not tombstone dates. Only James son of Zebedee has a year that sits on a Bible verse and a known king.
Andrew, Thomas, Bartholomew, Matthew, Simon, Thaddeus, Matthias: the year is a church calendar date sitting on a story, not a Roman death certificate.
Foxe’s work was to put those pages in one English book so a ploughman could read what Eusebius, Jerome, Clement, and the old Acts had already said. That is why the poster looks so finished. It is Foxe’s finished English face on a pile of Greek and Latin memory, with Acts 12 still the only death written while the apostles were still recent news.
Judas Iscariot — about AD 30 or 33
Matthew 27 and Acts 1. (Not a martyr. After he handed Jesus over, Matthew says he hanged himself.
James son of Zebedee — AD 44, Jerusalem
Acts 12:1–2, then Clement of Alexandria as Eusebius and Foxe tell it. (Herod Agrippa I killed him with the sword, that is beheading. Clement adds that the man who led him to the seat watched him stand firm, confessed Christ on the road, asked forgiveness. James said “Peace be with you,” kissed him, and both were beheaded together.)
James the Lord’s brother — AD 62, Jerusalem
Josephus, Antiquities 20, and Hegesippus in Eusebius. (Ananus the high priest had him stoned. Hegesippus says they set him on the temple pinnacle, threw him down when he would not deny Jesus, stoned him when the fall did not kill him, and a fuller struck his head with a club.)
Peter — about AD 64 to 67, Rome
John 21, 1 Clement 5, Tertullian, Origen in Eusebius, Jerome, and the Acts of Peter which Foxe repeats. (Nero condemned him in Rome. The Acts of Peter say he fled, met the Lord at the gate, “Lord, whither goest Thou?” “I go to Rome to be crucified again,” and he turned back. They crucified him. Origen and Jerome say he asked to hang head down and feet up, unworthy to die in the same form as his Lord.)
Paul — about AD 64 to 67, Rome
2 Timothy 4, 1 Clement 5, Tertullian, Eusebius, Jerome. (Same persecution under Nero. He was a Roman citizen, so they did not nail him to a cross. He was beheaded with a sword outside the city on the Ostian Way. Jerome says it was the same day as Peter.)
Andrew — about AD 60 to 70, Patras in Greece
Origen and Eusebius for the field; the Acts of Andrew and Foxe for the death. (The governor Aegeas had him bound to a cross, not nailed, so the dying would last. Later churches drew that cross as an X. Foxe says the two ends were fixed transversely in the ground. Some accounts say he preached from the wood for two days before he died.)
John son of Zebedee — about AD 95 to 100, Ephesus
Revelation 1:9, Irenaeus, Eusebius; boiling oil is later Foxe-type tradition. (Domitian sent him to Patmos. The early line is that he lived on in Asia and died of old age at Ephesus. Later books add that they put him in boiling oil at Rome and he lived. He is the one the early writers do not kill with a sword.)
Philip — often AD 54 to 80, Hierapolis in Phrygia
Polycrates in Eusebius, then later martyr lists. (Polycrates only says he “fell asleep” at Hierapolis. Later lists say he was crucified, or that they cut his tongue and then hung him on a cross. The poster’s crucifixion is that later stream.)
Bartholomew — often about AD 70, Armenia / “India”
Eusebius for the field; later Armenian lists which Foxe follows for the death. (Eusebius only says he had preached in “India.” Later records say a king had him beaten with clubs, flayed alive, then crucified or beheaded. “Skinned alive” is that flaying.)
Thomas — often AD 72, Mylapore in India
Origen and Eusebius for Parthia; the Acts of Thomas and the churches of the East for the death. (He preached, baptized in a royal house, and was run through with a spear. That is the martyrdom: slain by a lance.)
Matthew / Levi — often AD 60 to 70, Ethiopia in many lists
Late Foxe-style lists. (They killed him with a spear or a halberd while he was preaching. Other pages say Persia and a sword. The poster’s halberd is that spear-death tradition.)
James son of Alphaeus — often listed about AD 62
Later charts, often mixed with James the Just. (Stoned in Jerusalem. Some lists add beating first. The pages keep sliding into the other James.)
Thaddeus / Jude — often about AD 72
Eastern lists of Edessa and Persia. (Killed in the East. Some say arrows. Some say a club or an axe. The poster’s arrows are one of those later sentences.)
Simon the Zealot — often about AD 74
Split later streams. (One stream: crucified in Persia. Another: sawn in half. Foxe-based posters use the saw. That method is late and also told of Isaiah.)
Matthias — often about AD 70
Acts 1 only elects him; death is later. (Stoned in Jerusalem, then beheaded, or crucified in the east. The poster’s beheading is that second blow after the stones.)
Matthew 5 The Heart Of The Law!
There are so many out there that are so stuck on the Old Testament Laws while at the same time others are stuck on thinking Jesus just came here all about love with no consequences of sins!
When it comes to love that is pretty much what he’s trying to explain in all this. Love does not mean you just get to do whatever you want.
Jesus didn’t come here to abolish the law. He came here to fulfill it! He also set several things straight when it comes to the law.
This is just the first chapter. If anything Jesus came to bring clarity, in the laws to actually make obeying the laws much harder in a lot of ways.
To do our best to do the right things rather than what was passed down for generations in traditions rather than what God meant. It actually makes a lot of of this much, much harder.
Fulfilling the Law? That’s why he had to die on the cross to pay for our sins. But that is not a get out of jail free card. We still need to do our best to fulfill and obey what he said.
Thank God He rose again! So we can get forgiveness to be able to go home! Jesus spoke about her. A lot of of them are really hard to do. Some of you know this through experience. Including myself.
Again, I took the numbers out so people can actually read it like a book! There is more to this. I’ll be posting later.
Matthew chapter 5:
The Beatitudes Seeing the crowds, he went up on the mountain, and when he sat down, his disciples came to him. And he opened his mouth and taught them, saying:
“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied. Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy.
Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.
Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
Salt and Light
“You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people’s feet.
You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house.
In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.
Christ Came to Fulfill the Law
“Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished.
Therefore whoever relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever does them and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
For I tell you, unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.
Anger
“You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not murder; and whoever murders will be liable to judgment.’ But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother will be liable to judgment; whoever insults his brother will be liable to the council; and whoever says, ‘You fool!’ will be liable to the hell of fire.
So if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there before the altar and go.
First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift. Come to terms quickly with your accuser while you are going with him to court, lest your accuser hand you over to the judge, and the judge to the guard, and you be put in prison. Truly, I say to you, you will never get out until you have paid the last penny.
Lust
“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
If your right eye causes you to sin, tear it out and throw it away. For it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body be thrown into hell. And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away.
For it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body go into hell.
Divorce
“It was also said, ‘Whoever divorces his wife, let him give her a certificate of divorce.’ But I say to you that everyone who divorces his wife, except on the ground of sexual immorality, makes her commit adultery, and whoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery.
Oaths
“Again you have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not swear falsely, but shall perform to the Lord what you have sworn.’
But I say to you, Do not take an oath at all, either by heaven, for it is the throne of God, or by the earth, for it is his footstool, or by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King.
And do not take an oath by your head, for you cannot make one hair white or black. Let what you say be simply ‘Yes’ or ‘No’; anything more than this comes from evil.
Retaliation
“You have heard that it was said, ‘An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.’ But I say to you, Do not resist the one who is evil.
But if anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also. And if anyone would sue you and take your tunic, let him have your cloak as well.
And if anyone forces you to go one mile, go with him two miles. Give to the one who begs from you, and do not refuse the one who would borrow from you.
Love Your Enemies
“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven.
For he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have?
Do not even the tax collectors do the same? And if you greet only your brothers, what more are you doing than others?
Do not even the Gentiles do the same? You therefore must be perfect, as your Heavenly Father is perfect."
———
Just in, this chapter alone not even going forward some of these are extremely hard to do especially in this day and age.
How many people can honestly say that they have no problem with any of this?
I know of nobody. There’s one part in here where it talks about your brother when it comes to anger.
Just know that this does not mean everybody and all the evil people. This is specifically talking about brothers and sisters in Christ. But you are still supposed to love your neighbor and your enemies. Again, really hard to do.
This is why we need our savior. Jesus the Christ who died for our sins so that we might turn from those sins so we can go home.
Truthfully, can you love people like Jesus himself described here?
If you have any more questions, just ask, do not come on the comments, accusing me or anybody else of things because you can’t think right.
Why is there so much hate against the Jews and Israel? Follow the money. This is nothing new, and it is the setup for the last battles the Bible still has open. There are two purses, and one target. Purse one is political Islam.
Iran, Elam and Persia on today's map, sends hundreds of millions a year to Hezbollah, and tens to hundreds of millions, plus weapons, to Hamas and Islamic Jihad. That money buys rockets on the old Philistine coast, and in the Lebanese north. Qatar is the guest house. Doha hosted Hamas's political leadership for years, and Qatari money into Gaza runs into the billions. The Organisation of Islamic Cooperation is fifty-seven states voting as a pack.
Isolate Israel. Divide the land. Make Jerusalem the target. That is Psalm 2 and Psalm 83, paid for, kings taking counsel together to erase the name of Israel. And Muslim Brotherhood campus networks carry that same fight into Western universities. They want the last battle their own scriptures describe, and a world ruler they call the Mahdi. The Bible describes that ruler as the antichrist.
But the Bible says the Deliverer comes out of Zion, and the nations are judged for dividing the land. Those two endings cannot both be true. Purse two is the New World Order class. Klaus Schwab and the World Economic Forum. Davos is not a rifle, it is the club where governments and banks write one managed world.
George Soros and Open Society pay for NGO money, media desks, and protest infrastructure. That is how a siege gets a moral language. Bill Gates and the Gates Foundation pour tens of billions into global health and agriculture, with policy reach into governments. Larry Fink and BlackRock run more than fifteen trillion dollars. That is how a New World Order gets a banking spine.
The Rockefeller Foundation awarded more than three hundred and fifty million dollars in 2025 alone, mobilizing billions more into health, climate, and global governance. Money that trains nations to take orders from above the nation. And when Western treasuries cover the civil budget through UNRWA, the war budget is free. Now look at the prophecies. Ezekiel 38 and 39 speak of a host coming against Israel for spoil.
Joel 3 charges the nations with dividing the land, and that charge is already the United Nations file. Zechariah 12 through 14 makes Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all peoples, then all nations gather against it. Daniel 2 and 7, and Revelation 13, describe the last system ruling over many peoples and tongues. This is not Armageddon finished. This is Armageddon being funded.
Now the map the money keeps arming. Gaza, old Philistia, Hamas. Lebanon, Tyre and Sidon country, Hezbollah. Syria, Damascus and Hamath. Jordan, Edom, Moab, and Ammon.
Egypt, the southwest gate. Iraq, Assyria, Babylon, and Shinar. Iran, Elam and Persia, the bank. Yemen, the Houthis, choking the Red Sea trade. Turkey, the northern road.
And the West, United Nations seats, treasuries, campuses, and universities, the hall that makes the rifle look legal. Rome spread the Philistine name over Judah as Syria Palaestina, and that name is still the file called Palestine today. Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Persia, Greece, and Rome, those old empire pages are opening back up. Israel is the stone they both have to move, and the prophets said that stone is what brings the judgment. Hopefully, people wake the heck up.
These two chapters name a leader, name the nations that come with him, and tell the whole war from start to finish.
So we read it the way it is written. The passages in full, in context, in the order the Bible gives them.
No teachers, no doctrines from outside. Just the Bible, and where those nations sit on the map today.
1. Ezekiel 38:1-6, Gog and the nations named
"The word of the LORD came to me:"
"Son of man, set your face toward Gog, of the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him"
"and say, Thus says the Lord GOD: Behold, I am against you, O Gog, chief prince of Meshech and Tubal."
"And I will turn you about and put hooks into your jaws, and I will bring you out, and all your army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed in full armor, a great host, all of them with buckler and shield, wielding swords."
"Persia, Cush, and Put are with them, all of them with shield and helmet;"
"Gomer and all his hordes; Beth-togarmah from the uttermost parts of the north with all his hordes, many peoples are with you."
2. Ezekiel 38:7-9, the latter years and the land restored
"Be ready and keep ready, you and all your hosts that are assembled about you, and be a guard for them."
"After many days you will be mustered. In the latter years you will go against the land that is restored from war, the land whose people were gathered from many peoples upon the mountains of Israel, which had been a continual waste. Its people were brought out from the peoples and now dwell securely, all of them."
"You will advance, coming on like a storm. You will be like a cloud covering the land, you and all your hordes, and many peoples with you."
3. Ezekiel 38:10-13, the evil scheme
"Thus says the Lord GOD: On that day, thoughts will come into your mind, and you will devise an evil scheme"
"and say, I will go up against the land of unwalled villages. I will fall upon the quiet people who dwell securely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having no bars or gates,"
"to seize spoil and carry off plunder, to turn your hand against the waste places that are now inhabited, and the people who were gathered from the nations, who have acquired livestock and goods, who dwell at the center of the earth."
"Sheba and Dedan and the merchants of Tarshish and all its leaders will say to you, Have you come to seize spoil? Have you assembled your hosts to carry off plunder, to carry away silver and gold, to take away livestock and goods, to seize great spoil?"
4. Ezekiel 38:14-16, from the uttermost north, in the latter days
"Therefore, son of man, prophesy, and say to Gog, Thus says the Lord GOD: On that day when my people Israel are dwelling securely, will you not know it?"
"You will come from your place out of the uttermost parts of the north, you and many peoples with you, all of them riding on horses, a great host, a mighty army."
"You will come up against my people Israel, like a cloud covering the land. In the latter days I will bring you against my land, that the nations may know me, when through you, O Gog, I vindicate my holiness before their eyes."
5. Ezekiel 38:17-23, God answers with earthquake, fire and sulfur
"Thus says the Lord GOD: Are you he of whom I spoke in former days by my servants the prophets of Israel, who in those days prophesied for years that I would bring you against them?"
"But on that day, the day that Gog shall come against the land of Israel, declares the Lord GOD, my wrath will be roused in my anger."
"For in my jealousy and in my blazing wrath I declare, On that day there shall be a great earthquake in the land of Israel."
"The fish of the sea and the birds of the heavens and the beasts of the field and all creeping things that creep on the ground, and all the people who are on the face of the earth, shall quake at my presence. And the mountains shall be thrown down, and the cliffs shall fall, and every wall shall tumble to the ground."
"I will summon a sword against Gog on all my mountains, declares the Lord GOD. Every man's sword will be against his brother."
"With pestilence and bloodshed I will enter into judgment with him, and I will rain upon him and his hordes and the many peoples who are with him torrential rains and hailstones, fire and sulfur."
"So I will show my greatness and my holiness and make myself known in the eyes of many nations. Then they will know that I am the LORD."
6. Ezekiel 39:1-8, Gog falls and fire is sent on Magog
"And you, son of man, prophesy against Gog and say, Thus says the Lord GOD: Behold, I am against you, O Gog, chief prince of Meshech and Tubal."
"And I will turn you about and drive you forward, and bring you up from the uttermost parts of the north, and lead you against the mountains of Israel."
"Then I will strike your bow from your left hand, and will make your arrows drop out of your right hand."
"You shall fall on the mountains of Israel, you and all your hordes and the peoples who are with you. I will give you to birds of prey of every sort and to the beasts of the field to be devoured."
"You shall fall in the open field, for I have spoken, declares the Lord GOD."
"I will send fire on Magog and on those who dwell securely in the coastlands, and they shall know that I am the LORD."
"And my holy name I will make known in the midst of my people Israel, and I will not let my holy name be profaned anymore. And the nations shall know that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel."
"Behold, it is coming and it will be brought about, declares the Lord GOD. That is the day of which I have spoken."
7. Ezekiel 39:9-16, seven years of burning and seven months of burying
"Then those who dwell in the cities of Israel will go out and make fires of the weapons and burn them, shields and bucklers, bow and arrows, clubs and spears; and they will make fires of them for seven years,"
"so that they will not need to take wood out of the field or cut down any out of the forests, for they will make their fires of the weapons. They will seize the spoil of those who despoiled them, and plunder those who plundered them, declares the Lord GOD."
"On that day I will give to Gog a place for burial in Israel, the Valley of the Travelers, east of the sea. It will block the travelers, for there Gog and all his multitude will be buried. It will be called the Valley of Hamon-gog."
"For seven months the house of Israel will be burying them, in order to cleanse the land."
"All the people of the land will bury them, and it will bring them renown on the day that I show my glory, declares the Lord GOD."
"They will set apart men to travel through the land regularly and bury those travelers remaining on the face of the land, so as to cleanse it. At the end of seven months they will make their search."
"And when these travel through the land and anyone sees a human bone, then he shall set up a sign by it, till the buriers have buried it in the Valley of Hamon-gog."
"(Hamonah is also the name of the city.) Thus shall they cleanse the land."
8. Ezekiel 39:17-24, the nations see His judgment
"As for you, son of man, thus says the Lord GOD: Speak to the birds of every sort and to all beasts of the field: Assemble and come, gather from all around to the sacrificial feast that I am preparing for you, a great sacrificial feast on the mountains of Israel, and you shall eat flesh and drink blood."
"You shall eat the flesh of the mighty, and drink the blood of the princes of the earth, of rams, of lambs, and of he-goats, of bulls, all of them fat beasts of Bashan."
"And you shall eat fat till you are filled, and drink blood till you are drunk, at the sacrificial feast that I am preparing for you."
"And you shall be filled at my table with horses and charioteers, with mighty men and all kinds of warriors, declares the Lord GOD."
"And I will set my glory among the nations, and all the nations shall see my judgment that I have executed, and my hand that I have laid on them."
"The house of Israel shall know that I am the LORD their God, from that day forward."
"And the nations shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity, because they dealt so treacherously with me that I hid my face from them and gave them into the hand of their adversaries, and they all fell by the sword."
"I dealt with them according to their uncleanness and their transgressions, and hid my face from them."
9. Ezekiel 39:25-29, God restores Israel and pours out His Spirit
"Therefore thus says the Lord GOD: Now I will restore the fortunes of Jacob and have mercy on the whole house of Israel, and I will be jealous for my holy name."
"They shall forget their shame and all the treachery they have practiced against me, when they dwell securely in their land with none to make them afraid,"
"when I have brought them back from the peoples and gathered them from their enemies' lands, and through them have vindicated my holiness in the sight of many nations."
"Then they shall know that I am the LORD their God, because I sent them into exile among the nations and then assembled them into their own land. I will leave none of them remaining among the nations anymore."
"And I will not hide my face anymore from them, when I pour out my Spirit upon the house of Israel, declares the Lord GOD."
The order of events, as the text gives them:
1. God puts hooks in Gog's jaws and brings him out with his whole army
2. The nations with him are named: Persia, Cush, Put, Gomer and Beth Togarmah
3. In the latter years he comes against the land restored from war, whose people were gathered from many peoples and dwell securely
4. He devises an evil scheme, to seize spoil from the quiet people in the unwalled villages
5. Sheba, Dedan and the merchants of Tarshish question him about the spoil
6. He comes from the uttermost parts of the north, like a cloud covering the land
7. God's wrath is roused, and there is a great earthquake in the land of Israel
8. Every man's sword turns against his brother
9. God judges him with pestilence, bloodshed, torrential rains, hailstones, fire and sulfur
10. Gog falls on the mountains of Israel, and God sends fire on Magog and on the coastlands
11. Israel burns the weapons for seven years
12. Israel buries Gog and his multitude for seven months in the Valley of Hamon-gog to cleanse the land
13. The birds and beasts are called to the sacrificial feast on the mountains of Israel
14. The nations see God's judgment, and Israel knows He is the LORD their God from that day forward
15. God restores Jacob, gathers Israel from the nations, pours out His Spirit on them, and hides His face from them no more
Where these nations sit today: Meshech, Tubal, Gomer and Beth Togarmah all sit on the land of Turkey, right above Israel, and Beth Togarmah is named from the uttermost parts of the north. Persia is Iran, the same Persia it has always been. Cush is Sudan and Ethiopia. Put is Libya.
These are the Islamic nations that surround Israel today, and they have attacked her again and again in our own lifetime. The hatred in these chapters is the hatred we watch on the news every week.
And notice who wins this war. Not Israel's army. God Himself fights it, with an earthquake, with their own swords turned on each other, with fire and sulfur rained down, and with fire sent on Magog itself.
Israel's part afterward is burning weapons and burying the dead, and knowing that He is the LORD their God, from that day forward.
That is the whole story, in the order the Bible gives it. The nations are named. The land is named. The ending is named.
